Refund policy
At Mangaldeep Jewelers(www.mdjewel.in) we value your trust and strive to provide you with the best shopping experience. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy ensures a smooth and fair process, while protecting both our customers and our business.
1. Return Timeframe
- Returns will be accepted within 7 days from the date of delivery.
- The item must be returned unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging, along with the invoice.
- In case of a damaged or incorrect product, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting photos or videos. Delay in reporting may result in rejection of the return request.
2. Conditions for Returns
- Jewellery must be in its original condition, without any signs of wear, alteration, or damage.
- All original tags, certificates, and packaging must be intact.
- Returns will not be accepted for items found to be tampered with, damaged due to mishandling, or altered.
- Hygiene-sensitive products (e.g., earrings, nose pins, or any pierced jewellery) are non-returnable.
3. Eligible Product Categories
- Fine Jewellery (Gold, Diamond, Precious Stones): Eligible for return as per the above conditions.
- Imitation & Forming Gold Jewellery: Returns are accepted only in cases of manufacturing defects or wrong item delivered. Minor variations in polish, shine, or finishing are natural and not considered defects.
4. Return Shipping
- Return shipping is free of cost.
- We will arrange a secure pick-up through our logistics partner after verifying your return request.
5. Refund Method & Processing
- Refunds will be processed via the original mode of payment.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be made via NEFT/Bank Transfer or Cheque, whichever is feasible. - Refunds will be initiated within 7–15 business days after the returned product passes our quality inspection. Please note, your bank/payment gateway may take additional time to reflect the refund.
6. Exceptions & Deductions
- Labour Charges/Making Charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Shipping insurance, handling fees, or gift-wrapping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.
- Customized, altered, or personalized jewellery is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
7. Exchanges
- Exchange is available after inspection of the returned item.
- Customers must visit our physical store in Bhavnagar for exchange processing.
- At present, online exchanges are not available.
Store credit or exchange value will be provided, as feasible.
8. Fraud & Misuse Protection
- Mangaldeep Jewelers reserves the right to deny returns in cases of repeated misuse, such as multiple frequent returns, damaged returns, or any behaviour inconsistent with our policy.
9. Important Notes
- Returns will only be processed once the product passes our quality inspection.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by mishandling, improper storage, or exposure to water, perfumes, or chemicals.
- Slight differences in colour, polish, or finish due to lighting or photography will not be considered defects.
